Soccer Dance a Huge Success!

Thank all who came out and supported the Hustisford Soccer club at our annual Spooktacular Halloween Community dance on Friday, October 27th at the Hustisford Community Hall. Over 300 attended this year’s event. This was another very successful fundraiser for the soccer club but more importantly it was a wonderful evening of fun for the community! I would like to thank the following community-minded businesses, organizations and individuals that made this year’s dance possible with their generous donations:

We are very blessed to have the support of these wonderful sponsors. With their help we are able to continue to hold this dance each fall. We had over 100 door prizes donated this year. Thank you to East Side Lumber, Dennis Cerfus, Otto Hopfinger & Sons Inc. and The Hustisford Community hall for sponsoring the Raffle items this year. Christi Poppe won the 58” TV donated by East Side Lumber. Stacie Lackas won the iPad donated by Otto Hopfinger & Sons! Renee Donegon won the Pressure Washer donated by Dennis Cerfus and Daniel Ritger won the $50 cash donated by the Hustisford Community Hall.

Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who worked in the kitchen, at the door, and helped with security and to the outstanding cleaning crew! HUGE Thank you to our Concession Director Miranda Weinheimer, for transporting everything from the concession stand, getting everything organized in the Kitchen and also for grilling the delicious hot dogs and burgers and making the mouth watering Mac and Cheese.

Special thanks to Kim Hopfinger for collecting and organizing the Door Prizes and being my Contest Assistant!!! Thank you to Jaime Kulkee and Jeremy & Maddux Lang for helping to decorate. Thanks to Judy Ashby and Crew for the clean up. Thank you to our door prize assistants Jamie Kulkee and Stacie Lackas.

Thank you to our outstanding contest judges Bob Knueppel, Kayla Boden, Judy Ashby, Jeremy Lang, Ken Poppe and Dan and June Strobel, This year their job was again extremely tough because there were so many outstanding costumes to judge. Thank you to all who dressed up and entered the contests. We had over 110 contestants; the Winners are listed below.

Thank you to the Hustisford Community Hall for hosting the event and Laura Eggleston and her crew for Bartending. Music was Provided by D.J. Jesse James.

The proceeds raised from this year's dance will be used to offset expenses, so we can continue to keep our soccer program affordable for anyone interested in parborder-collapsticipating.
